Revival Comes Again – May it Spread!

If you have not seen the news recently, Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky, has been having a student-led revival and it has caused the public to attend and overwhelm the auditorium! See the Report on Fox News. This reminds us of the Asbury Revival that broke out at the same University in 1970. How amazing is it to start another revival at the same Christian university! Now let’s pray that it spreads across America! Lord knows we need it.

I have been praying for revival for a while now and it is amazing to hear that it has started. It only takes a spark to spread the fire! After the Covid pandemic shut everything down and kept everyone holed up in their homes, seeing a “conflict” between Russia and Ukraine that wants to draw everyone into a long war, crime breaking out in major cities, and so many other problems showing up in the culture of America, it is time for the Holy Spirit to revive us! It starts with the church and then spreads outward. This generation is ready to see God move.

Restore us again, O God of our salvation,

and put away your indignation toward us!

Will you be angry with us forever?

Will you prolong your anger to all generations?

Will you not revive us again,

that your people may rejoice in you?

Show us your steadfast love, O Lord,

and grant us your salvation. (Psalm 85:4-7)

Please join me in prayer that the Lord will work within us, spread through His people and make a difference in our country!
